ABOUT ME
How it All Started
I am a recently retired general medical practitioner. I worked in general practice for 30 years, mainly in the South East of England.
I have always enjoyed fitness and exercise and have been an active rock climber, cyclist, hockey player and walker for many years.
I first started practising yoga during the lockdowns of the Covid pandemic in 2020, and I have never looked back. It is now my number one passion, and I find it a complete practice for mind, body and soul.

The more I did yoga, the more I wanted to learn, and in 2024, I decided to deepen my knowledge by training to become a yoga teacher, which I completed in June 2024.
As I practised more yoga, I felt increasingly aligned with breathwork and meditation. This forms a daily part of my morning routine, and these are key elements of my yoga teaching.
Through my exposure to yoga, I became aware of sound therapy and cacao, which I felt provided other opportunities for giving energy, strength and peace. In 2025, I completed my sound therapy training and cacao ceremony training.
Practising yoga, sound therapy and cacao has helped to give me a holistic approach towards mental and physical wellbeing and peace. I enjoy sharing this with others.
